Nawtint® the real alternative to cement render and similar exterior finishes for
housing and construction.

A number of top home builders have chosen Nawtint as their preferred exterior treatment for their new display homes at the new HomeWorld Display Village now taking shape at Kellyville.

Developed in Australia, Nawtint is based on the proven Nawkaw brick and block coloring materials created by Nawkaw Corporation used extensively in Canada, the US and Australia since the 1980’s. The colors will not fade and will not deteriorate.

The HomeWorld builders who have chosen Nawtint for their all important display homes are; Beechwood, Allworth, Felton Constructions, Jandson and Mirvac. More builders are expected to choose Nawtint as homes are added to the village.

According to Tony Watling, managing director Nawkaw Australia, home buyers are attracted to the rendered exterior finish that allows a choice of new colors rather than traditional face brick colors. The home builders who have chosen Nawtint know that it is an attractive alternative.

The beauty of Nawtint is that it gives the attractive appearance of rendering without the ongoing maintenance that may be required with cement render finishes. Nawtint is color-fast and won’t fade and the most maintenance it will require is to simply wash away grime with a garden hose.

Nawtint is only applied by specially trained applicators whereas cement render can be applied by a variety of independent trades. The color of render is liable to change and some projects have experienced surface cracking.

Nawkaw has combined with Austral Bricks to create the Mediterranean Collection from a combination of Nawtint and Austral clay bricks. The result is a beautiful range of durable, fashion colors for the homes of Australia.

“The colors are reminiscent of the subtle colors of Italy and include Santa Cruz Leon, Blanche Marbella, Corsica Tenerife, La Palma Majorca, San Remo Cabrera and Canaria Ibiza. They can be seen in display walls at Austral Bricks display centres.

“Apart from its durability and no maintenance advantages the Nawtint finish is more economical and we offer a twenty five year limited warranty available on the color finish supplied and applied by Nawtint. The ingredients used are water resistant and will not fade due to UV radiation from the sun” Tony Watling said.

Right now home buyers can see three completed homes featuring the Nawtint exterior finish at the new HomeWorld IV display village opposite the old village Windsor Road, Kellyville.
